| 内容記述 | Microscopes such as transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) or confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) have been utilized very well by many morphologists for over 30 years, since the laboratory of Electron Microscopy was established at Ohu University in 1974. However, the operating time of microscopes is decreasing, as the users of the electron microscopy and their needs have decreased recently. In this paper, 30 years of the laboratory of electron microscopy, user number and operating time of each microscope were investigated by their operation notes (1974～2003), and then number of articles related to electron microscopy was investigated in Ohu University Dental Journal (vol.1th～vol.30th). Operating time of the three microscopes was an average 180.5 days (673.6 hours) a year and the total number of users was an average 167.6 persons a year. Articles related to electron microscopy in Ohu University Dental Journal were in 59 editions. This research has confirmed that the laboratory of electron microscopy is still valuable inspite of the decrease of users. | |||||
