We reported a case of a dental infection that caused an osteomyelitis at the HAP filling region of mandible bone. A 56-year-old man was referred to our hospital because of inflammatory swelling at the left side of the mandile and pusdischarge from buccal gingiva. The corticectomy and sequestrectomy were performed under general anesthesia because of the established clinical diagnosis of a chronic osteomyelitis or sclerosing osteomyelitis on radiographic examination. The patient had a previous disease of mandibula cyst in the same region, at that time cystectomy was performed under general anesthesia in 1990. On that occasion, HAP was filled in the bone defect.}, pages = {161--165}, title = {アパタイト填入部に生じた下顎骨骨髄炎に対する臨床的検討}, volume = {33}, year = {2006} }
