The results obtained were as follows 1. The rate of awareness of the dental mirror was high in 2005 and 2006. 2. All the students in 2005 and most of the students in 2006 answered that the practice was enjoyable. 3. Most of the students answered that the practice was tiring, and the top answer was that the eyes got tired both in 2005 and 2006. 4. The students who answered that the practice was difficult accounted for about 80% in 2005 and 2006. Approximatery 80% of them answered that the difficulty resulted from the reflected image both in 2005 and in 2006. 5. All the students in both years answered that the mirror technique practice is necessary, and the most of the students answered they wanted to acquire the skill. 6. More than 80% of the students who took this on-site training answered that the training enhanced their motivation to become a dentist.
