However, several problematic aspects have been encountered in the implant treatment today, including its rather difficult therapeutic technology, prolonged treatment period, patient's pain accompanied with surgical procedures and high economical burden. In the future implant treatment, therefore,a therapeutic strategy with more simplified technology, shortened treatment period and reduced pain is desired. In this article, a 35-year-old woman who had residual roots of right and left mandibular molars and of right mandibular 1st premolar and was who successfully treated with implant embedment immediately after the extraction of the residual roots as an early loading application is presented. By embedding implants immediately after tooth extraction followed by filling with bone prosthesis to prevent a potential infection, the patient's pain was reduced and the treatment period was shortened by more than 1 month as compared with the conventional period, which successfully resulted in an early improvement of oral function.}, pages = {159--163}, title = {抜歯後インプラント即時埋入による口腔機能の早期改善}, volume = {34}, year = {2007} }
